Churchill and special moments

Posted on Mar 26th, 2007 by Brian : PhilosophersNotes.com Brian

"There comes a special moment in everyone’s life, a moment for which that person was born. That special opportunity, when he seizes it, will fulfill his mission – a mission for which he is uniquely qualified. In that moment, he finds greatness. It is his finest hour."

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill : British prime minister during World War II, winner of Nobel Prize for literature 1953

Ahhh… reminds me of A Prayer for Owen Meany.
Do you think we have glimpses of that moment in order to prepare?
Or do we just show up ready to do what we have to do?

IT would be most enlightening - I would venture to suggest - to know what Churchill's views would have been in respect to your  War on Terror zBlog post.  Churchill was of course his own man all of his life, a rebel in others eyes - and his own no doubt - and his own special moment was indeed seized by him to fulfill his mission

May I be permitted on behalf of ALL @zaadz to exclaim - Hail to Brian for seizing his special moment and providing US with the special opportunity - which is ZAADZ - to support him such that he too will  fulfill his mission.

GOOD NIGHT & GOOD LUCK
